River Grove Community:
Three important meetings are planned this week to address school property matters. Join us for further collaboration and advocacy opportunities!
River Grove Board Meeting
We look forward to seeing you at our next regular meeting on Monday, October 24, at 5:00pm. The first hour will cover regular board business. At 6:00pm, the administration and board will provide a property presentation, community comment opportunity, and Q&A. The meeting will be at the community fire ring on the River Grove campus, 14189 Ostlund Trail North, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047. The Commons building will serve as the rainy weather back-up location.
Please use this form to submit questions we can address during our presentation. Submissions must be made by Monday at noon: https://rivergroveforms.com/forms/october-24-board-meeting
A reminder that our regular board meetings are on the fourth Monday of the month at 5:00pm, unless otherwise noted. Meeting notices are physically posted on the bulletin board in our parking lot and on our Board of Directors website calendar.
May Town Hall Meetings
Show your support for future land use that preserves and protects our scenic school grounds and surrounding forest, lakes, and rustic roads. Decisions made at these meetings will likely allow or disallow land uses for our school and the newly proposed overnight camp.
A workshop on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, at 4:00pm will be held for the sole purpose of discussing ordinance updates regarding the May Conservancy Zone, where we are located. You are also invited to attend a parent-organized playdate at the May Township playground prior to the meeting.
A public hearing on Thursday, October 27th, at 7:00pm will be held to consider Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan amendments regarding the uses and performance standards within the Conservancy District and updates to the Town’s transportation plan/functional classification system.
The Town Hall is located at 13939 Norell Ave. N. Marine On St. Croix, MN 55047. May Town public notices are posted here under Documents > Public Notices.
