Beginning Monday, October 16, daily student pick-up and drop off will be at Stillwater Evangelical Free Church (SEFC) – 7671 Manning Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082.
It has been an amazing experience for both our staff and students to begin the first five weeks of the school year fully immersed in nature at the field site. As we approach late fall and cooler weather, especially in the mornings, we recognize that having access to an indoor space will ensure that students are comfortable and able to fully engage in learning throughout the day.
River Grove remains committed to outdoor, place-based educational programming. Students will continue to spend time outdoors during the school day and will have access to trails and fields near the church. Students can look forward to a bevy of upcoming field trips in October and November and will still be able to access the field site through our bus service.
We are incredibly grateful to Manitou Fund for the use of the nature center property as well as Pastor Nick and SEFC for their generosity in giving us a warm place to use this fall until our future school building is able to be accessed.
Red Bus Afternoon Timing: While at the church our red bus afternoon route is anticipated to run approximately 10-15 minutes ahead of schedule.
